🧩IELTS speaking - 分3 parts

題目千變萬化，咩題目都有可能，完全捉唔到，可以係交通、興趣、動物、健康、教育、環保、旅遊、節目等等，要大量詞彙。

IELTS (Academic) -October 2021

Part 1 Interview -4-5分鐘
– What is your full name?
– Can I see your ID?
– Where are you from?
– Do you work or study?
– What do you do?
– Do you want to live in the countryside?
– Is it easy for you to concentrate in a noisy environment?
– How important is a daily routine to you?
– When did you start to learn science?
– Which science subject do you find interesting?

Part 2 Cue Card-1-2分鐘+ 1分鐘考官問問題

Describe an activity you usually do that is a waste of your time. Please say
– What is it?
– When do you usually do it?
– Why do you do it?
– And explain why you think it wastes your time.

Part 3 Discussion- 4-5分鐘
– What makes people feel stressed?
– Why do you think it is?
– What technological problems can cause people to feel stressed?

🎯OET speaking-分2 parts(Nursing)

🎙2 parts都係情景題，每part 講5分鐘，只有一類題目：你一定係護士，場景一定係clinical 。cue card有哂提示，考核同病人一來一往既英語溝通能力

🎙與你對答既人不是考官，錄音後交比兩個考核人員評核

題目例子：

Setting: Hospital Accident and Emergency Department

Nurse:

You see a 22-year-old patient who suddenly started feeling ill when playing football in extreme heat earlier today. He/She was brought to the Emergency department by friends. You suspect heat exhaustion.

Task
-Find out patient’s reason for attending emergency department
-Find out more details about patient’s symptoms (feeling faint/dizzy,nausea,etc)
and possible causes. Explore patient’s general health and any medication taken.
-Explore any special measures taken because of extreme heat (increased fluid intake,Periods of rest, spending time in shade, etc.,)
-Given likely cause of illness as heat exhaustion and explain why (e.g.lack of hydration,Excessive exercise /physical activity, prolonged exposure to heat/sun,etc.,)
-Stress need to stay in emergency department(e.g. examination by doctor, confirmation of diagnosis, appropriate treatment,etc).Explain next step (wait for doctor.rest,rehydration,etc.,) Establish patient’s willingness to wait

2️⃣第二篇：40分鐘內寫250字

考以下其中一類題目：
1. Opinion (Agree or Disagree)
題目例子：Many claim that the fast food industry had a negative effect on the environment, eating habits, and families.
To what extend do you agree or disagree?

2.Advantages & disadvantages
例子: In some countries, young people are encouraged to work or travel for a year between finishing high school and starting university studies.
Discuss the advantages and disadvantages for young people who decide to do this.

3.Problem and Solution
例子：Global warming is one of the biggest threats humans face in the 21st Century, and sea levels are continuing to rise at alarming rates.
What problems are associated with this and what are some possible solutions.

4. Discussion (Discuss both views)

例子：A growing number of people feel that animals should not be exploited by people and that they should have the same rights as humans, while others argue that humans must employ animals to satisfy their various needs, including uses for food and research.

Discuss both views and give your opinion.

🎯OET-考題一定係有關醫療，d字一定唔陌生

🤔我兩樣都考過，如果讀開書，考IELTS 其實唔難。但已工作多年，英文應用集中在醫療工作上，OET會覺得易好多。

IELTS比較學術性； OET實用性大d,考OET會幫到之後考OSCE

❓睇完都未決定到考邊樣，索性係未溫過既情況下，分別做一次OET & IELTS 既reading & listening sample test,基本上都feel到邊樣易d
